Data controller
WALINET, 66 avenue des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris, France. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email hello@walinet.net.
Data we use and why
When you submit an enquiry, we process the contact, professional and project details you provide, together with language, source page, country inferred from the connection and technical security data. If a business relationship begins, we may also process contractual, billing and payment information.
- Respond to your enquiry and take steps towards a possible contract;
- manage prospects, clients, projects, invoices and receipts;
- secure the website and CRM and prevent abuse;
- meet accounting, tax and legal obligations.
Our legal bases are pre-contractual steps at your request, performance of a contract, legal obligations and legitimate interests in operating and securing our business. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated means.
Recipients, processors and transfers
Access is restricted to team members who need the data. Technical providers include OpenAI Sites for hosting, Cloudflare infrastructure and Resend for email delivery. Some processing may occur outside the European Economic Area under applicable contractual safeguards. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
Prospect data is retained for up to three years from collection or the prospect’s last contact. Data needed for a client relationship is kept during that relationship and then for applicable legal periods. Invoices and accounting records are retained for ten years. Security logs are kept for a limited period proportionate to their purpose.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability and object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent where a process relies on it. Email hello@walinet.net; reasonable identity evidence may be requested where necessary. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
